What are you most excited about becoming a mum for the first time?
I was excited for everything really, I always knew I wanted to be a mum!
What did you find the most difficult to adapt to?
I wouldn’t say difficult but if I had to pick something it would be the leaking boobs and the tingling/heavy feeling of milk in them!
What was your first reaction when you found out you were pregnant?
I remember being in the bathroom waiting for the pregnancy test to give me an answer, it felt like the longest minutes of my life. I was in shock when I saw the positive result, I did 3 more tests just to make sure, I was also relieved that my gut feeling of being pregnant was right.
What did you pack in your hospital bag?
I packed a lot but my favourite things were slippers, snacks, a hand held fan, a big drink bottle with a straw and the Noonie spray
What was your pregnancy craving?
I am a little sad I didn’t have any weird random craving combos. One night while I was pregnant I almost cried because I wanted hot chips and gravy so bad but I couldn’t get any because it was almost midnight.
What’s one thing you wish you knew or figured out a little earlier?
That none of my cute outfits are easy to breastfeed in!
Most exciting or memorable moment and what were your feelings of sharing the birth journey on social media?
My most memorable moment was when I filmed Belle opening the pregnancy test. I was really excited about sharing my pregnancy on social media everyone was so lovely and supportive.
When you chose the name for your baby, what did you want the name to symbolise?
Sol symbolises him being my little soulmate.
